Hi My name is Rachel Z. Cornell. I’m writing a book about living a limit free life. Along the way I’m doing all kinds of things I had no idea I would be doing when I decided to take on this adventure.
Who would have known that I would have to learn all kinds of computer techie things as I went.
My Mentor for my book, New York Times Best Selling Author Barbara Sher tasked me to learn how to take my blog and turn it into a professional Weblog to help the world get to know me and my important message. I love a challange. So I said yes.
It’s my job to explain how to set up a Weblog to the other writers that Barbara is mentoring. Instead of a linar document I thought I would use the power of the post and blog the steps. Go me! Doing it this way I can insert images and/or links when it would be helpful.
I relized doing these steps let alone documenting is not easy if you don’t speak the language or know the terain. So I decided, If I’m going to go to all this effort to get this information down in a clear way, I’m going to share it with as many people as possable.
If I can do this, I am pretty sure I can help you help yourself do this too. I’m legally blind. I am bad at following directions. I have no geek micro-chip implanted any place on my person! And even with all the “conversational geek” I’ve taken lately, I just am not picking-up the language.
So using the language I do know I aim to traslate geek so we can all learn to host our own WordPress self hosted Weblog that performs and looks professionaly.
